Meet the Massage Therapist.
Leah Pronschinske, Licensed Massage Therapist - Colorado Springs, CO
Hi, I'm Leah.
I'm a licensed massage therapist, yoga teacher, and owner of Ahara Massage & Bodywork.
My journey into bodywork began through a lifelong passion for movement and wellness. As an olympic level athlete growing up, I developed an early appreciation for the body's ability to heal, adapt, and perform. That interest eventually led me to yoga, where my understanding of health expanded beyond the physical body and into the connection between movement, breath, mindset, and overall well-being.
After completing my first yoga teacher training in Rishikesh, India, I continued my studies through advanced trainings in yoga, Ayurveda, trauma-sensitive yoga, doula birthwork and holistic wellness. Massage therapy became a natural extension of that path.
Today, my work draws from a variety of modalities including therapeutic massage, Ashiatsu barefoot massage, Table Thai massage, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Maya Abdominal Therapy, Buccal/Intra-Oral TMJ work, cupping, and breath work guidance.
Rather than relying on a single modality, I take an integrative approach to bodywork. Every session is customized to your needs, blending techniques that support pain relief, mobility, nervous system regulation, recovery, and overall well-being.
The philosophy behind Ahara comes from Yoga and Ayurveda, where ahara refers to everything we take in and absorb, not only food, but also our thoughts, experiences, environment, and relationships. This belief continues to guide my work and my intention to create a space where clients feel supported, empowered, and more connected to their bodies.
Whether you're seeking relief from chronic tension, support through a specific condition, or simply time to reconnect with yourself, I'm honored to be part of your wellness journey.
When I’m not in the studio, I’m usually cooking, spending time in the greenhouse with my fiancé, playing fetch with my three dogs, or making beaded earrings through my creative project, The Beading Bodyworker, or traveling and planning my next international adventure.
